Lunchbox project – tackling holiday hunger through food, fun and games

Do you find the school holidays are an added financial pressure for your family?

Why not come along to our FREE Lunchbox scheme?

Primary-school age children can enjoy activities, fun and games when they come with their parent or carer, plus enjoy a light breakfast or snack during the session. There’s also  vouchers available for a child’s meal at our Footprints Community Cafe.

Families do not need to be in receipt of any benefits or be receiving free school meals to attend.
Our 2025 programme starts on the 28 July and runs every Monday through to Thursday for four weeks. All sessions are drop in, no booking is required.
Mondays – Grangetown United Community Hub, Grangetown
Tuesdays – Marske Methodist Church, Marske
Wednesdays – Newcomen Methodist Church, Redcar
Thursdays – Footprints Community Cafe, Redcar.
Families are welcome to arrive from 9.30am for registration and food, activities will start at 10am and finish at 11am.
Further details and a timetable can be found on our Lunchbox Facebook page or by contacting Marij (Family Projects Coordinator) on family@footprintsinthecommunity.co.uk or 07761342868.
