New Start

Setting up a new home can be a struggle for many people, especially if it’s already difficult to afford the essentials.

Our New Start project provides packs of small household items to people who find themselves in this position. People can be referred by a Foodbank centre, Next Step Shop or any of our other referral agencies, providing they live in the Redcar & Cleveland area.

Items included in New Start packs: bedding, towels, pans, utensils, cutlery, crockery, kettles, toasters and cleaning packs. Unfortunately we do not provide furniture. We try to provide new items whenever we can, but we also accept donations of good quality homeware essentials which can be reused.
